About the
Klassen Family
Our story began in 1958 when Fred Klassen was only 16 years old. He took employment at a local plumbing and heating firm after high school, to work in their sheet metal shop and help with furnace installations. This developed into him becoming a self-employed furnace and ducting installation sub-contractor. Fred Klassen was (and still is) the ‘go-to’ sheet metal expert for many of the plumbing and heating firms in the Steinbach area.
Shortly after completing his sheet metal apprenticeship in 1991, Fred’s son, Keith joined him and formed a business partnership. Klassen Metal was then established in 1994 when this father & son team started a sheet metal shop and started doing quality heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
Over many years of experience, we have worked in multiple residential and small commercial projects throughout the area. Our highly trusted and certified team now offers heating, cooling, and ventilation services in all of Southeast Manitoba and beyond.
We own and operate our own sheet metal shop to ensure properly designed and sized quality installations. We strive for perfection in our planning and workmanship in the installations in your home or office.
We take pride in our work, and always strive for our devotion and enthusiasm to speak for itself. Our goal is to treat clients as our friends and family, as though we are working within our own homes! Offering personable, friendly, caring service to all.
